Scottish Youthcard

Scottish Youthcard The Scottish Youthcard is available free to 16-18 year olds and full time volunteers up to the age of 25 and allows discounted travel within Scotland on buses and trains including:

- A third off most single or return rail fares
- 50 % off all weekly or monthly tickets
- A third off most advance ticket purchases

Young adults aged 16-18 are no longer issued with Scottish Youth Railcards and should use their Young Scot National Entitlement card, which bears their photograph, pass hologram, date of birth and Young Scot logo. Full time volunteers over the age of 19 may have an older version of the card.

Discounts are available on journeys within Scotland with Virgin Trains, Virgin Trains East Coast, ScotRail, First TransPennine Express and CrossCountry Trains.
